At the end of a road surrounded by trees and streams, as a prelude to what is to come, a gate opens to RAMA, where the main buildings of the Ranch are located.

The machinery and tool sheds, the Caretaker and staff´s accommodation, the horse boxes, the saddle shed, the stockyard, the saloon and the bar, the fountain and finally, the Ranch House are all harmoniously located and exquisitely designed within the rugged landscape.

The Ranch house was originally built with the same criterion and design of the old country houses, when buildings were heavy in defense of who knows what. Its horseshoe shape, as well as the stone walls of 60 cm thick and the 40 windows allow hosts to enjoy the nature of Rama even from the interior of the Ranch House.

The Bar was an old shed built on one side of the hill. The roof was in ruins and the difference in floor level was two meters in a distance of 15 meters. The granite rock-wall was dirty and stained with grease and soot from centenarian barbecues.

But that wall, which turns out to be of pink granite, was beautiful. The shed was recycled, the floor was leveled, the roof was rebuilt, walls were reinforced and provided with big and double-glass windows.
In this way, it is the position of the observer what defines the landscape that one enjoys watching.

Though we kept the rough features of the old building, we added all the possible comforts to create an amazing place, where you can simply stay and gaze, and let your mind wander…

Spacious, warm and comfortable rooms, overlooking the hills and equipped with soft springy sommiers and duvets.

Decorated with simplicity and good taste, they are all provided with individual heating and private bathroom.
